17/3/2025

On March 17, 2025, La Fondation Dynastie, in collaboration with Fondation Musicaction, proudly presents its new Écho Musique program.

Launch of the Écho Musique Program: Develop your project in the music industry!
Fondation Dynastie and Musicaction unveil Écho Musique, an innovative program designed to support emerging and mid-career professionals and entrepreneurs from black communities in Quebec's music industry. This program aims to offer concrete opportunities for those who want to develop their project/business and get involved in the music industry.

A program unique in Québec

Écho Musique is the only program in the province specifically dedicated to black talent in the music industry. Through 15 sessions, participants will benefit from intensive training, strategic mentoring and the opportunity to meet with industry experts. Whether you're an artist/entrepreneur, manager, producer or industry player, this program will give you the tools to turn your passion into an entrepreneurial project.

On the program: a wide range of modules

Participants will receive training on essential topics such as artistic development, financing and legal aspects of the music business, career management, marketing and music production. They will also have the opportunity to strengthen their network and gain visibility with industry professionals.

"Through its Skills Development program, Fondation Musicaction supports structuring initiatives for the benefit of entrepreneurs, artists and artist-entrepreneurs in the music industry. We share, with Fondation Dynastie, the same objectives of professionalizing and integrating people from black communities into the Canadian music industry. Écho Musique is undoubtedly an innovative and promising project for achieving these shared goals." - Anne-Karine Tremblay, Director, Corporate Affairs - Community and International Development

An enriching training program, a participatory experience

The program includes 10 key modules covering essential aspects of the music industry, such as cultural entrepreneurship, career management, financing, branding, music production and more. Participants will benefit from 15 face-to-face sessions, strategic mentoring and thematic online capsules to deepen their knowledge.

Throughout the program, they will also have the opportunity to participate in at least one major Canadian music industry event, enabling them to explore different facets of the industry and expand their network.

The program runs from June 13, 2025 to June 4, 2026, in person at the Fondation Dynastie offices, and concludes with a closing evening where participants present their projects to a panel of industry experts.

Who can participate? A diversity of talents

Écho Musique is aimed at emerging and mid-career professionals and entrepreneurs, aged 21 and over, from Black communities and residing in Quebec.
