Programs and Outreach Assistant
Damarce Heshima holds a bachelor's degree in Communication, Politics and Society from the Université de Québec à Montréal (UQAM), and her academic career has enriched her understanding of social dynamics. Her quest for knowledge led her to pursue a master's degree in international law at the Université de Montréal (UdeM). Her adventure at Fondation Dynastie began 2 years ago as a volunteer, and her passion for the organization's mission led her to accept the challenging role of Programs and Outreach Assistant. This position offered her the exceptional opportunity to contribute positively to the development of our communities in the arts and culture.
Tell us about your role at the Foundation?
My position at Fondation Dynastie allows me to develop an essential versatility. As program assistant and outreach coordinator, I juggle a variety of responsibilities. I'm involved in the management and logistics of the various programs, while supervising the work of the volunteers. My role also extends to the census team managing applications for the prestigious Gala Dynastie.
What's your favorite thing about your work?
What I appreciate most about my job is having a motivated team that shares my values and vision. Working with like-minded colleagues amplifies our shared commitment to the Fondation Dynastie mission.
What "superpower" would you like to have?
Ah, the ultimate superpower I'd love to have is the ability to teleport anywhere with a snap of my fingers. Imagine, no more money problems with plane tickets and no more delays! I could be where I want to be in an instant. It would be the perfect way to satisfy my wanderlust and, above all, avoid always arriving at the last minute.
