Bellande has over fifteen years' experience in the artistic and corporate fields. A leader at heart, passionate and eager to work as part of a team, she has collaborated with companies such as the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, L'ORÉAL, Équipe Spectra, and many more. Her talents in philanthropy, marketing, public relations and management are indispensable assets to our organization. We're delighted to have him on our team. His good humor and outspokenness are always a source of strategic exchange and laughter! 

Tell us about your role at the Foundation? 

I'm Head of Communications and Marketing. I'm responsible for proposing and implementing winning strategies that will raise the profile of the Foundation and its activities, and ensure the success of its mission. 

What's your favorite thing about your work? 

I'm lucky enough to work with a great team of people who really care about the advancement and development of black people in the culture, media and arts industries, and I find that very motivating. We dare to make a difference to better position the present generation and those of the future, and that's super stimulating. 

What "superpower" would you like to have? 

Teleportation, I'd still be standing on a beach with my mango ;)

What's your favourite word? 

Freedom

How would you describe yourself in 3 adjectives?

 passionate, charismatic and resilient

Who's your favourite band? 

I have too many, but Sade always makes me feel better

What's your favourite saying? 

Prevention is better than cure

 Yellow

Wyclef Jean and opening act Destiny's Child when the band was unknown!
