Influential personalities join our Board of Directors
The Fondation Dynastie is delighted to welcome 4 exceptional new members to its Board of Directors (BOD). With their varied, enriching and complementary professional backgrounds, they will act as solid allies in helping and advising executive management on how to achieve the organization's objectives. Dédy Bilamba, Director, Widney Bonfils, Director, Magalie Boutin, Secretary, and Alexandra Jeanty, Director, join the current members of the Board of Directors: Margaret Archer,president, Mo Bellus, vice-president, Cyrille Ekwalla, administrator, Chilandre Patry, administrator, Stendolph Ismael, treasurer and Carla Beauvais as general manager.
A few words about these new recruits
Dédy Bilamba : Author, communications and marketing specialist, manager of major projects and passionate about media and cultural creation, Dédy has a wealth of professional experience on 3 continents (Africa, Europe and North America), enabling him to analyze local issues from an international perspective. He currently holds the position of Director of Programming at the Canadian Academy of Television, Quebec Section, where he is responsible for promoting diversity within the Quebec audiovisual industry.
Widney Bonfils: A&R Director (artists and repertoire) for Universal Music Canada and Chairman of the Board of Advance Music Canada, Widney also has solid expertise in sales, marketing and the IT industry. His vast experience in the music industry will enable us to perfect our knowledge of the avenues to be explored to improve the development of black artists in this field.
Magalie Boutin: Head of Media Relations and Co-Director of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion at the National Film Board of Canada, Magalie is a force of nature in the world of communications. Her know-how, her ability to mobilize through effective strategies and her expertise will help us spread the word about our organization's mission to reach as many people as possible.
Alexandra Jeanty: With 20 years of sustained experience as a manager, Alexandra also specializes in the development of effective philanthropic strategies. Director of Exceptional Gifts at the Université de Montréal Alumni and Donor Network, she manages gifts of $1 million or more. Her expertise is a key asset for the Fondation Dynastie, which is actively seeking to develop its philanthropic component, a crucial avenue for ensuring its long-term viability.
The Fondation Dynastie would like to extend its warmest thanks for the time and energy that each member of the Board of Directors devotes voluntarily to the success of its mission: to support and accompany people from black communities working in the media, arts and culture by facilitating their development and professionalization.
