Mandate

Reporting to the Head of Programs and Outreach, the Programming & Outreach Officer supports the organization and coordination of Fondation Dynastie programs and events. He/she plays a key role in the successful execution of activities, contributing to the Foundation's mission of promoting and recognizing the talents of Quebec's black community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and organization of the Foundation's programs and initiatives
  • Manage day-to-day administrative tasks, such as preparing documents, taking notes during meetings, and tracking deadlines for the Programs and Outreach department
  • Receive, process and follow up on registrations and applications for programs and events.
  • Serve as a point of contact for participants, partners and community members, responding to requests for information and ensuring effective communication
  • Assist in the implementation of the Foundation's programs, special projects and initiatives, providing operational and administrative support.
  • Maintain and update databases of participants, partners and volunteers.
  • Participate in the evaluation of programs and events, creating surveys and preparing reports for management.

Desired profile

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in event coordination, administration or related field
  • Bilingualism (French and English) essential (oral and written)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in office tools and project management software
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Enthusiasm and energy
  • Autonomous, proactif.ve and attention to detail

Working conditions

  • Full-time: 35 hours/week
  • 3 days in person (Tuesdays and Thursdays and a floating day (which can sometimes be the weekend)
  • 3 to 5 sick days
  • Weekly follow-up in person or virtually with the Executive Director and/or the Head of Programs and Outreach
  • Plan overtime according to the reality of the event
