Mandate

Reporting to General Management, the incumbent plays a strategic, tactical and operational role in all Fondation Dynastie communications and marketing activities - including Semaine Dynastie. The incumbent must supervise team members and external service providers, as well as plan, organize, direct and control communications and marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop brand positioning across all channels and act as a brand gardien.ne
  • Advise the executive director, support other departments in their promotional or communication activities and contribute to the achievement of the organization's strategic objectives
  • Market and develop promotional initiatives for the Fondation Dynastie  and all its activities
  • Ensure the deployment of the digital strategy (relationship marketing, acquisition and conversion)
  • Manage the external media and media relations team as well as graphic designers, photographers and videographers.

  • Renew and lead the design of print/web tools
  • Oversee the graphic design of ads, promotional materials and other materials
  • Write press releases, newsletters, website content and other documents
  • Update the website and database
  • Maintain contact lists and manage newsletter mailings
  • Develop the media plan and supervise press relations
  • Supervise suppliers: graphic designers, printers, programmers, photographers, videographers, press relations, translators, etc.
  • Oversee social media management
  • Manage ad sales and ad exchanges
  • Collaborate in the development of partnerships and sponsorships
  • Develop and monitor budgets
  • Measure results (survey, website/social media statistics), analyze them and make recommendations
  • Any other communication-related tasks

Desired profile

  • Undergraduate degree in marketing or communication
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in communications, public relations and/or marketing
  • Bilingualism (French and English) essential (oral and written)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to quickly grasp issues
  • Knowledge of the cultural environment and communications related to membership and event campaigns
  • Organizational skills, autonomy and excellent team spirit

Working conditions

  • Full-time: 35 hours/week
  • 3 days in person (Tuesdays and Thursdays) and a floating day
  • Weekly follow-up in person or virtually with the Executive Director and/or the Head of Programs and Outreach
  • Plan overtime according to the reality of the event
