Founded in 2016, Fondation Dynastie stands out as an engine of advancement for black communities in media, arts and culture in Quebec. Its mission is to promote development, employability and access to information in the cultural and media fields. Through a rich catalog of activities supported by committed partners, it creates an inclusive and equitable environment, enabling black people to shine, professionalize and stand out in the cultural, artistic and media milieus.

Gala Dynasty

Since 2017, the Gala Dynastie has been presented to close the festivities surrounding Black History Month. This Gala, the only one of its kind in Quebec, aims to reward personalities from Black communities who have distinguished themselves in the fields of arts and culture and whose achievements and accomplishments deserve recognition.

Black lives matter

Under the artistic direction of Harry Julmice, Hanna Che (Never Was Average) and Niti Marcelle Mueth, nearly twenty artists created a 7-metre by 100-metre mural on rue Sainte-Catherine, between rue Saint-Hubert and rue Saint-André. In initiating this work, Fondation Dynastie wished to express its solidarity against racism and disparity by uniting voices across borders through the power of art. The work is intended as a space for positive conversations and a lasting reminder of the message of social justice that lies at the heart of the #BLM movement.

The Dynasty Summit is an experience made up of inspiring panels, discussions and interactive workshops led by speakers at the top of their game. In a dynamic, co-constructed approach, in the company of our experts, take action and put your creativity to good use. Together, let's promote the equitable distribution of resources available for the development of content and cultural goods created by Afro-descendants in Quebec.
