SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the executive director, the partnerships & philanthropy development officer is responsible for supporting the development and execution of strategies related to partnerships, sponsorships, and donor engagement. This role also includes donor stewardship to achieve fundraising goals and strengthen relationships, all in alignment with Fondation Dynastie’s philanthropic vision.

The partnerships & philanthropy development officer plays a key role in the growth and sustainability of the organization. They are responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies to identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with donors, partners, and sponsors. This person designs fundraising initiatives, coordinates campaigns, and serves as a liaison between the Fondation and key stakeholders. They also work to enhance the visibility of Fondation Dynastie and maximize funding opportunities by aligning philanthropic goals with organizational needs. The officer ensures strong and lasting donor relationships through impact reporting and recognition events.

Job description

  • Contribute to the enhancement and recognition of partners and donors
  • Prepare, coordinate and draft grant applications and reports to major donors
  • Contribute to the preparation of an annual giving plan
  • Plan the outreach and promotion of fundraising activities, and develop communications tools, in conjunction with the communications team;
  • Oversee the organization of fundraising events and contribute to the solicitation and sale of tickets where appropriate;
  • Contribute to the analysis of the profitability of philanthropic fundraising activities and draw out relevant lessons learned
  • Maintain a strategic watch on best practices in philanthropy, particularly with regard to fundraising activities (solicitation of donations and events)
  • Manage agreements and pledges, perform follow-ups and, in collaboration with the accounting department, ensure timely payments;
  • Develop communication tools to present the impact of donations to donors and partners (sales pitches, newsletters, annual report)
  • Optimize the use of social networks for philanthropic purposes in conjunction with the communications team.

Working conditions

  • Permanent full-time position: 32 hours / week, Monday to Thursday
  • Annual salary: between $41,000 and $49,000 (depending on experience)
  • Flexible working hours: 3 days face-to-face (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday) / Wednesday teleworking / office closed on Fridays
